UNDERSTANDING DREAMS

I believe dreams have the power to heal the past and bring lost possibilities back to life. In those moments, they allow me to step into the reality that should have been—the one I ran away from. Dreams don’t just remind me of what was; they offer a chance to reclaim what still lives in my heart. Paintings are like dreams, I am not in charge of them, the create themselves.

Photographs are paintings that capture moment, often we can see the soul of the person.
The eyes tell so much.



I love this photo of Neil. I love his serious, Neil eyes show his awareness. Neil sees life and translates what he sees into music. Words he doesn’t say are in his lyrics.

My memories of Neil are as flesh today as they were decades ago. For many years I felt like I knew what was happening in his life by the look in his eyes, as well as the lyrics in his songs.



Oil on canvas 12” X 24” Paintings are like music, filled with emotion. This painting does not have a name, but it has the same emotion, that I feel from the photo above of Neil.
